August 29, 2007 - WOW! Even though it was supposed to be a bit over done it was fantastic. It was the colour of themost beautiful red gem that you can imagine. It was deep and clear and beautiful. The nose was perfect. Not overwhelming at all fragrant and complex. There were many layers to the taste. I wish I had taken notes while tasting. The most important comment that was made is "This is my favorite new wine!". I totally agree!

July 11, 2006 - Pretty ruby color. Lots of effervescence. 11% alcohol. This biodynamic wine takes its name from, what else, the moon. The bottle has a little booklet dangling from the neck in Italian which appears to pay homage to lunar influences, but I would have needed a dictionary for an accurate translation. The nose is most attractive, with ripe red fruits and floral notes. This carries on into the flavors until the finish, which is jarringly dry and somewhat bitter. I wasn't expecting cold duck, but I couldn't help thinking this would have been more enjoyable with a slightly less aggressively dry/bitter finish.
