December 31, 2023 - T Cork was non-existent - crumbled into pieces. Side of bottle coated with sediment. Absolute treacle - rich and unctuous and still very much alive.

January 20, 2018 - Outstanding example of a fortified Muscat, made in the Rutherglen style. Warm vanilla, sultana, and caramel aromas and flavours. The palate is smooth, rich and well-balanced. It is not a superlative example of the style, but for the price, this gives a sense of the excitement these wines can bring.

December 25, 2016 - Beautifully balanced and clean expression of this style. While not hugely complex, the wine offers power, texture and a delicious and opulent palate redolent of steamed pudding, which was just as well, as that was what the wine was paired with.

March 15, 2016 - Very thick, syrupy, raisins, figs, alcohol coming through on the finish. It did better at fridge temp than cellar temp which masked some of the heat, but this is not my style.
