July 6, 2010 - Sampled 7/4/10. This wine takes about an hour to open up. The blueberries are rich and fat and dominate once the wine is open. Still, there is plenty going here to really enjoy. Some dried herbs, vanilla Oak, a long smooth finish. A very well made wine that hides its alcohol wonderfully. No rush to finish this wine off. It'll be go for another half dozen+ years with ease.
