March 24, 2024 - Popped and poured. The wine evolves significantly with air adding weight and complexity. Black cherry, some red fruited nose, forest floor and herbs comes through. Medium bodied, high acidity but enough ripe fruit that brings it all together. Depth and complexity are developing. Still youthful. Will be interesting to see how this develops over time.

February 24, 2024 - I continue to love this vintage, more discreet, sharp and classy than other vintages. Really outstanding.

November 18, 2023 - So much better day 2. Balanced beyond imagination. High quality fruit, cool and ripe. Strawberries and raspberries. The stems that was prominent the first night is well integrated day 2. Complex and very long aftertaste. Impressive with a bright future.

August 20, 2023 - Lunch at Le Bon Georges (Le Bon Georges, Paris): Testament to how good is this wine is that the very classic team of French sommeliers ( albeit young in age) at Le Bon Georges, Paris raised the alarm for every one of them to pop by and taste from the glass we happily offered. Once again great value wines on French wine lists.
This was exceptional once again and to us we drew a parallel with the classicists of Napa in Cab Sauv that effectively make ( at least used to make till early 2000s ) a classic Bordeaux but with an extra dollop of ripeness just to set it apart. And here is the same it is a very much classic in the way its made ,earthy , soft round and ever so elegant but with a touch extra on the ripeness that come from the terroir. An impressive wine that will continue to evolve for a few more years, still fresh and energetic but showing a good level of maturity and evolution. This will be at peak probably in 3-5 years in our view. 94+

April 21, 2023 - savory, red fruited, tart, and with lots and lots of stem presence. unfortunately I think we are drinking this way premature. give it another 10 years at least and then lets see what it morphs into
