March 17, 2021 - While it still contains new world fruit, I love the fact that Melville is able to do everything they can to bring out the Burgundian character in their Pinot Noirs, even their entry level wine. Impressive!

December 24, 2020 - Second bottle of 2, 1st one consumed and notes entered 7/1/2019.
Ready to drink now with some breathing.
More of a grippy Pinot than some, but neither a fruit or alcohol bomb.
We like Melville wines...interestiing that the Pinot has notes like a Syrah and the Syrah has notes like a Pinot, although both are discernible and varietally correct. No long term aging on this bottle. -
