June 20, 2015 - Baked apple and pear, roasted almond, toasty sour dough flavors. Medium body with the acidity holding strong. Moderate length finish.

June 19, 2015 - 1999 - So much depth and so many layers of flavor. Fresh baked almond croissant, burnt caramel, apples baked w/warm spices, and eggy lemon curd. Bubbles are effortlessly integrated into the wine, creamy and smooth with DVX's signature laser like long crisp finish. Drinking beautifully now, but it will hold well for a many more years to come.

October 1, 2013 - Brown Bag Wine Dinner at Two Chefs - Double Blind (TWO CHEFS, MIAMI, FL): The wine looks Straw colored. The legs are Fast. It smells like Lemon, and Leesy. The body is Light. The wine has Bright texture. The wine finishes Medium. Bob's Sparkling Wine.

December 24, 2012 - Christmas Eve with Family (Our House): Light gold color. Drank a couple glasses over 45 minutes. This was a great final bottle to cap off the 1999 DVX's. Nose shows some earth, yeast, nutty, citru and apple with very fine bubbles. The palate is elegant and delicate, carrying depth but not heavy handed, apple, citrus, nutty, doughy minerals. Great balance, nice finish. Really great way to start the celebration, but I am very sorry to see these go. For any who still have this with good provenance, don't be afraid to hang onto this another 2-3 years.
