January 20, 2023 - rich and potent. bit of dried fruit on the nose on opening, but still lots of dark cherry and robust tobacco. Would have cellared longer I think, but my last bottle. A mouthful of suave and satisfying red from a producer that knows elegance.

April 1, 2017 - Deep opaque purple with slight bricking at the edges. A very expressive and interesting bouquet of wet dirt and bubble gum. Palate has blueberrries, blackberries, eucalyptus, baking spices, tobacco and mushroom ragout. Full body. High acidity. Gritty tannins. Very long finish. This is a fantastic wine with lots of everything (good fruit, earth, acidity and tannins) despite an age deemed out of peak. A superb Tuscan wine that is still going strong.

March 26, 2015 - Great eucalyptus freshness, black cherries, juicy, mineral, structured, long, rich, full. Great wine with years ahead.

May 10, 2014 - Rich, polished and full of energy. Dark fruits, soya sauce, thyme, lively acidity, long cleansing finish. Very enjoyable!
