January 1, 2024 - A joint effort between Chapoutier and Jasper Hill. An enjoyable quaff.

A Heathcote nose and it leaves one no doubt that it is a brute. High in alcohol but somehow, it is drinkable courtesy of the savouriness of the wine. Coffee, dark chocolate, charcuterie and dried herbs were all there. Some nice acid and soft tannin keeps the show moving quite nicely. Not complex but good.

    Drink now to 3+ years.
