Community Tasting Notes 8

Tostato in sottofondo, ormai integrato e mentolatura balsamica.

July 14, 2018 - Non-traditional style- nicely integrated, long finish

March 30, 2017 - I have to say that this is probably the best Barbaresco I have had. There was very nice cherry and some like hint of vanilla. Lots of spice that moved in and out of dominance, giving this wine the kind of interest that leads one to savor the aroma for long periods. This was in near perfect balance front to back, with the fruit carrying all the way to the long, long finish. Just a magnificent Nebbiolo in its prime and hitting on all cylinders. I am not sure why this bottle dazzled me so much more than the last one.

January 24, 2015 - Spicy and toasted notes of mocha and cacao, integrated into a more fruity character (blueberry, currant), with a background of violet, mint and licorice. Hot and velvety at palate; wrapping. Long finish. Certainly not a traditional Barbaresco, but eventually a good wine, not over-oaked.
