December 25, 2018 - I liked it tho I thought it was a little lighter in style than i prefer

October 23, 2018 - Fantastic. This has aged wonderfully. Mature notes of oak, leather and dried flowers. You can tell there is barrique aging on this. It reminds me a lot of aged red Burgundy but more assertive on the palate. It tastes absolutely delicious. Tannins are fully rounded. Fruit is very present at the core. Good penetration and length. A modern offering that will certainly make a traditionalist doubt himself. Great effort.

February 4, 2018 - Leather, cherries and tobacco - very smooth with considerable sediment. Probably past its prime even though Parker thought it should hold through 2018.

June 27, 2009 - Very rich dark fruit nose with significant tannins still present suggesting further aging.

July 8, 2003 - Served at dinner at Mosaic 2002. Also tasted in Piemonte in June 2002. Tar and roses. Great depth and complexity on both nose and palate. Opens beautifully with a few hours. Great now should be spectacular in five years. Long finish.
