June 1, 2023 - Thouroughly oxidized. Same source as Jan 9 2019 note which was great.

October 8, 2021 - Oh Leflaive, so many disappointments normally but this bottle was fantastic! Mid to pale gold still. Was initially tight when first poured but got better and better in the glass. Classic popcorn Leflaive nose with layers of white peach and nectarine notes, ripe but not over the top and wonderful structure and balance. No hint of pre-mox, almost shockingly young at 22 years old. I still think it is too much of gamble at these prices and a majority of times it has to be poured straight down the sink but hats off this time it was magnificent! I am told after 2015/16 the pre-mod is a thing of the past but I am afraid they have lost me as a long-term buyer after too many thousands of dollars down the drain.

June 19, 2021 - Wide range of bottle variation over the last few years, though I should note they’re from 2 different sources. This one was soft, but not oxidized, just lacking tension and exuberance of past bottles

October 30, 2020 - Another blind wine that stumped us. Massive wine, so dense. My first reaction was "this is a beast!" Like the 96 Leflaive Pucelles, the texture and mouthfeel are exceptional. The 90's Leflaives were truly a Golden Age for white Burgundy.

September 24, 2020 - bought more from the same source as prior bottle. this was a little corked, not terribly so but it was mildly present in the nose and finish. the underlying material was excellent and we finished the bottle. overall would have given a 92-93 rating with the flaw
