December 24, 2018 - A lot to like about this. Plenty of upfront fruit, still pretty primary, but pure and deep. Enjoyable flavors and very easy to drink. Good upon opening but better on the second day. Good drink now, but should drink well for several more years at least with a chance to improve once the fruit loses some of its primary character.

August 16, 2018 - Aromas of brambles, spice, and roasted red fruits. Ruby-garnet in color. Zippy flavors of spiced roasted red fruits, nice acidic edge with long spicy finish. Lovely!

December 30, 2017 - 4 Shared Reds (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): THANK you, Arturo, for yet another STUPENDOUS wine that you so GENEROUSLY shared! :)
“42% Grenache 36% Syrah, 14% Mourvèdre, 4% Counoise, & 4% Cinsault; Each varietal component was pressed after fermentation & matured for 10 mos in seasoned FR oak barrels & puncheons before being racked 1x to blend for bottling. 14.1% ABV, 6.0 g/L T.A., & 3.62 pH; 3,031 cases produced @ $27.50 sugg retail.”
N: LOVELY melange of smoke, berries, & something greenish (almost a garigue?); Notes of spice with swirling?
P: Med, poss MF, body; RNDISH entry with ALMOST swtish frt met by an astringent pucker which slowly, SEAMLESSLY evolves into a very LONG, BALANCED, MOST pleasant finish with the SLIGHTEST glimpse of occasional bitterness. Particularly considering the QPR, *awesome* stuff for now & probably through '21, + I can even imagine a bit of improvement over the next yr or so! (If interested, check the 3 scores on wine-searcher's Tasting Notes pg.) [As of late Mar '20, wine-searcher still shows 1 source @ $32].
