Community Tasting Notes 2

October 5, 2017 - Developing nose with medium(+) intensity. Pleasant nose with some classic Nebbiolo aromatics. Fresh cherry, raspberry, moist soil, porcini mushroom, tobacco, rose petal and paint bucket.

Bone dry on the palate with medium acidity, medium body and medium(+) but super smooth tannins. The wine lacks freshness and structure which gives a rather dull and warm mouthfeel. Medium finish with lots of murky wood and black tea coming through.

The nose is nice and inviting but the palate doesn't really add upp and that lacks of structure is a no-go for me. A Barbaresco at €20 isn't that common but I'd rather spend those money on a good Langhe or Alto Piemonte instead. Ready to drink.
