October 17, 2018 - Smells like wet basement, animal, decaying rotting leaves. Fascinating. Smooth and dry.

August 10, 2018 - Enjoyed with a homemade pasta and garden ragout and deconstructed pesto. Intense fruit and mineral nose; a bit alcoholic on the palette with slightly assertive tannins. Strong red plum, black raspberry, and pepper flavors. Somewhat short, clean finish.

March 20, 2018 - Beautiful wine; Cabernet is rich and very reminiscent of a Cali Cab, half the cost. Very smooth, and the combination of the Sangeovese makes it uniquely different than the softer side of a Merlot. This is a winner for dinner.
