January 10, 2016 - Founded in 2008. Mostly sandy soils. 100 year old vines. Belinda Thomson is the winemaker. She’s Australian. Shaya is the name of the mini deer.
subtle aromas. Mineral. Water weight on the palate, but still melon and mellow palate.

December 25, 2015 - Great QPR. Good fruit, nice acidity and easy to sip with or without food. Popped and poured; paired with cheese and salami.

August 15, 2015 - 3.5 Green apple and tropical aromas, including pineapple, dominate with a background hint of barrel. Round mouthful compliments the crisp acidity nicely. Excellent.

February 24, 2015 - Bright and pale yellow in the glass. (Very) subtle fruit on the nose - hard to detect. Taste makes up for it as this is wonderfully fresh, fruity, well balanced. Excellent value for money.

February 5, 2015 - The wine is clear and bright with a pale lemon-green colour.

The nose is clean and youthful, showing medium(+) intensity aromas of white flowers (roses, honeysuckle), stone fruit (peaches), tropical fruit (melon) and citrus (lime, lemon peel).

The wine is dry in the mouth with a medium(+) refreshing acidity. It has a medium body and a medium(+) alcohol. It has pronounced intensity flavours of white flowers (roses, honeysuckle), stone fruit (peaches), tropical fruit (melon) and citrus (lime, lemon peel). The finish is long.

It is a very good quality wine. It has a lingering finish and very concentrated flavours that balance the acidity. However it does not show the typicity of a Verdejo wine.

Drink now, not suitable for ageing. It has quite a lot of fruit concentration and some acidic structure to be kept, but this style of wine tends to develop reduction aromas easily.
