March 22, 2024 - Deep, cherry red with clear meniscus. Awesome bouquet of ripe, black cherry, strawberries and sun dried tomato. palate is deep, rich and full bodied incorporating stacks of ripe black fruit, vanilla, saddle leather, liquorish with soft velvety tannins and gentle acidity. A fully mature masterpiece. WOW!!!!!!!!

July 9, 2023 - Rich deep intense sweet fruitcake and blackcurrant on the nose and palate. There is still plenty of fruit at 24 years old. The delicious heavily extracted fruit is accompanied by garique herbs, forest floor, old saddle leather and cedar wood. Full bodied, the structure of acidity and tannin still provides grip, though is softening now. Very definitely an Australian Shiraz, though my notes coukd easily suggest a rich Cali cabernet. This is fuller and sweeter than a Cali cab. Long and complex. I think this is perfect miw, though will last for years.

April 22, 2023 - 13.5%. Dark core, ruby edges, faint brick at the rim. Fragrant lifted fruit, faint hint of menthol, plummy, top note of dust. Good tartness, dense on the attack, medium length, slightly short finish. Tannins slightly powdery but fully integrated. Very good. Peak drinking.

April 28, 2022 - Drank this wine at Manhill Restaurant over dinner with my wine mates. Theme of the evening: Syrah (or Shiraz) or Syrah dominant wines.
