January 2, 2024 - Pale pink salmon in color with a good and steady perlage. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of strawberries, apples & pears with overtones of floral & yeasty notes, brioche, minerals & citrus undertones. Medium-light bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, zesty, ripe fruit flavors of strawberries, raspberries & cranberries with yeastiness, brioche, spices, chalky & minerals. Long, lingering crisp finish. Drinks quite well at present yet may benefit from an additional year or two of further aging. An indicative blend of 11% Pinot Noir & 89% Chardonnay. A very lovely Rose Champagne.

    December 16, 2023 - 93% Chard, 7% PN still wine with 40% reserve wines.

Dust, toffee, vanilla, cinnamon/tonka bean, ripe red apples, ripe pear and star anise, roasted pecans on the nose. A little oxidative, and it smells like there is some age on it. Intensity of aromas is medium +. It tastes a bit younger, showing flavors of ripe cranberries, ripe blueberries (crazy flavor for something with that much Chardonnay), steel, autolytic yeast and wet stone. Intensity of flavors is medium +. I like both the palate and the nose on this and it's amazing how different they are from each other.

Medium body with medium + acid and a medium - mousse. Delicious and enjoyable. With this, you get "the best of both worlds" between young and aged Champagne.

July 30, 2023 - Light pinkish color. Bright, yet good vinosity with good length. Any yeast character is subtle. Very good food wine.
