Community Tasting Notes 10

May 16, 2020 - The wine was in one of those strange ungiving moods. Youthful exuberance faded but not yet replenished by mature mystery. If you have any left I'd give it a little more time.

April 10, 2020 - Light ruby robe, cherries and mint on the nose, raspberry on the palate, lovely acidity and long mouthfeel

December 31, 2019 - Fresh and with a drive even if you can tast a warm vintage. Nice wine but perhaps not the most complex.

April 20, 2018 - The wine was smelling of cork but the cork was ok ... strange. Anyway on the palate it was good , red fruits , nice acidity and nice gripping tannins. With the right nose can improve to 89 for me

October 21, 2017 - Real special. First 30min was rough with slight cherry and sulfur aromas. After it warmed and breathed a tad it became something fabulous. A full, sappy textured wine with persistent acidity and elegant, complex aromas. Nose shows earth, licorice, cherry, tar, herbs...the whole mountain nebbiolo spectrum. Taste is very sappy and long, sweet cherry and a gorgeous aftertaste of rose petal and red licorice lingering in the back of your mouth. Super sneaky tannin that really coats the back of your tongue.

Should age gorgeously for another ten years.
