  March 31, 2023 - PnP. Ver dark purple color. Cherries and chocolate on the nose with a hint of oak. Menthol and dark fruit on the palate, but very reserved and higher than the listed 14.6% alcohol. Super short finish. I’m a broken record on this, but I just don’t get these single vineyard SG cabs, especially at the insanely high price. What am I doing wrong or how do I get my money back?

  June 5, 2021 - This was great. Really great nose, cherry, black fruit. Great fruit. Finish has leathery earthy tones. Really great with steak. Red meat Really balanced the acidity and tannins. A bit more tannic out of the bottle but after decanting wa smoother. Could even spend more years in the bottle but great now.

  January 15, 2021 - As always, delicious. Drank with some barbecue chicken on a random Friday night and did not disappoint. BUT, not the bold flavors I’m used to from Sequoia Grove. This one mellowed out a lot and was very dry and earthy. No strong fruit.
