August 30, 2020 - Plenty of life left in this - soft but beautiful fruit and aptly named as very velvety mouth feel. Lovely bottle of wine

May 21, 2019 - From magnum. Dark but translucent. Herbal tea, black cherry, and anise nose. Thin and sleek while offering a flavorful mouthfeel. Nice acidity supporting a quick exit.

April 1, 2018 - Medium light ruby red. Brilliant. Powerful aromatics of earth and tea, cherry and clove. Light,velvet mouthfeel and flavors of red fruits, cool climate tart acidity, soft and persistent tannins-a lovely, balanced structure with an extended finish. Give this wine a few more years in the cellar to tame the acid.
