September 4, 2023 - Colour, medium density, slight breaking on the rim, good weed cutter in the middle black to caramel use 15/15
nose, medium intensity, clean aromas of red fruits raspberry ,redcurrant, plum and Black fruits, blackberry, Olive. Spice ,earthy, new leather responded to aeration which I wasn't expecting and I wasn't expecting the amount of fruit aromas 28/30
Palate medium bodied, rich andluscious fruit with more black and red flavours silky mouthfeel resolved tannins, good underlying acidity throughout the palate 39/44
overall holding up very well almost 20 years old now should hold this condition for a few more years 8/11 -

June 12, 2022 - Cabernet (and blends) celebration (Ben and Estella's place, Parramatta): Served blind.
medium minus intensity aromas initially, meaty, savoury, earthy, cream, leather, a little red over black hued fruit. Juicy, medium plus intensity acidity, red over blackcurrant again, leather, chalky tannins persist long hand in hand with the fruit. Very nice.1 person found this helpful Comment -

June 11, 2022 - From Coravin. Final shall I shan't I decant decision for Sunday lunch. Another 'No'...this is very much pop and pour...herbaceous notes initially on the nose backed by a little black fruit and some sweet spice. Juicy, red and black currant on the palate, soft tannins offer a little tug at the tongue, the herbaceous note is present but in the background.

March 19, 2022 - Coravin fun - Rioja and lunch selection (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Biscuit, toast, then mint, alcohol prickle, over black hued fruits - a little blackcurrant, cream, sweet spice. medium plus intensity acidity, pure blackcurrant, chalky tannins, medium plus length. nice Coonawarra typicity. Pleasant.
