  February 13, 2022 - Last bottle of this was more than 3 years ago. I honestly do not remember my last bottle's taste profile. I've had no other vintages in between. At the pnp and for a few hours later, this one really rattled the olfactory system as it smelled and tasted much like a B Cellars Ehrlich. Is it possible that the Fortuna vineyard backs up against the Ehrlich vineyard in Oakville? And that the fruit profile or clones planted could be the same? I know they are close but, wow! This really tastes like Ehrlich! Everyone on here knows how much I love the Ehrlich profile. At 9 years of age, this has really settled in and is quite smooth on the palate. A very nice wine with plenty of acidity left to go for a while. Alas, my last one......only toward the end of the night and 7 hours of air did the acidity rise a bit to the top and overpower the rest of the wine, a bit.

  December 15, 2018 - Sweet floral, fragrant red fruit nose with a hint of lead pencil cedar. This wine has Fortuna vineyard all over it! Pleasant astringency and wood. Rose petals abound! This is a lively, energized cab. The acidity leads to a mouthwatering 30-second ending. Obviously, this can go on quite a ways but why? Great to wrap up the night with this beauty.....
