Community Tasting Notes 11

March 9, 2019 - Brief notes, lots of wines...similar to last time, pale straw, shells and a bit of white flower. Palate is pretty focused and linear, not much in the way of complexity. Paled in comparison to the Knez Cerise Chardonnay served alongside it, both blind. Half the group of 10 tasters disagreed with me, the most evenly split vote of the evening.

February 10, 2019 - Pale straw and clear. Saline/sea shells, bit of hay, whiff of vanilla new oak. Open, creamy, vanilla, lemon curd, good balance. Medium length. Solid Chablis from my point of view.

Had to coravin this based on the other tasting note posted. The other note must have had an off bottle. This is as fresh and youthful as expected.

February 9, 2019 - Not much on nose. Muted yellow fruit, moderate acidity, more prominent slate and salinity. Past it’s prime.

January 27, 2018 - Tight. Mineral, but more oak than I expected. Not great. Yeah - I know....infantcide...

January 26, 2018 - nose: typical chardonnay nose with a little oak; palette: begins with oak then light chardonnay through to finish
