April 2, 2024 - Popped-and-poured, then enjoyed over nearly three hours. Lots of spice and bright fruit to start - apple, lemon curd, and some candied lemon peel - with good weight. Air was this wine's friend tonight, with more weight emerging and a rich nuttiness coming through as well. I don't know if this was at its best when finished three hours after it was opened, but it was darn close to its best.

August 19, 2023 - Wonderful depth and richness, but much too mature for its age. Previous bottle from the same case was beautiful (Dec 2022).

December 8, 2022 - Apple, baked apple, lemon curd and candied lemon peel. A touch on the rich side for now, but with 2014's bright mineral edge coming through clearly as well. Upside from here.

October 19, 2017 - A bigger and richer style. At least than the blain then the blain g. Lots of cream.
