December 21, 2023 - Nice balanced wine from Washington, I dont see the point of holding this wine any longer, still some fruit left with a nice lingering finish.

October 27, 2023 - I often find this wine a bit "over the top" but this 2014 showed beautifully last night with a great steak at Charlie Palmer. While full and rich, it's balanced and fresh with deep black fruits and a lovely layered mouthfeel. The finish rolls over the tongue with ultra smooth and softened tannins and there is this fabulous minty note that really stands out. Ready now although it should hold and maybe grow more complex with time but it's that minty aftertaste that is imprinted in my mind today...

July 13, 2023 - Still quite tannic. Nose of minerals and thyme. Excellent dark fruit and sour cherry. I only have one bottle left, so it’s days are numbered. Very nice wine. It should age another 5 years however.

February 27, 2023 - This is drinking so much better then when I had it a few years ago. Bright red fruit - raspberries and cherries stand out to me. Tannins have softened and it’s quite enjoyable. I wasn’t sure it was ever going to “get there” but I think it really did. Give it a short decant.
