November 3, 2019 - Blackberry, dark cherry, tea, spice, minerality. Medium body. Medium-plus acidity. Light, velvety tannins. Medium-plus finish. I’d probably drink this now, before the fruit fades. Went great with duck.

July 15, 2019 - This '14 Emerald Ridge is very much in the center of its window; perhaps a bit softer in character than most of D-G's other pinots. This will go way past 2021 in the community window, so am suggesting 2025 here.
