Community Tasting Notes 4

September 20, 2018 - After opening it was a little too watery, thin, and acidic. And the farty nose that German Pinot Noir is known for.
Two hours later, I liked it.
    Chocolate on mid-palate and finish.

April 30, 2018 - Lovely fruit, fresh, spicy, vibrant with good length and intensity. Lovely. Great QPR. 91-93

April 17, 2018 - Light ruby. Elegant nose of berries with some savory notes. Thin and bracing but clean. A little sour. Medium finish. Very Germanic.

May 31, 2017 - So delicious! And so clearly shows a sense of place. Not the deepest, most complex, most powerful, or most anything of Pinots. But this is a perfectly composed wine, lovely and true. The extraction is well judged - light enough in color to easily read the newspaper through this. Delicious dark fruit, juicy with ripeness and perfectly balanced with vivid acidity. There is a sense of stone of the kind I've tasted before in Pinot from this region, and a wisp of something resinous, smoky. Perfect drinking right now.
