  July 5, 2017 - *drank over two days....
  
  Medium hue golden yellow, rounder body
  Ripe Cantaloupe melon off the nose, some saltines, like sea air
  Tastes much like the nose with a medium plus finish
  Good acidity. Not super dry. Some rounder fruity elements persist.
  
  A good wine. Nothing wrong here. Nice change from the usual.

  February 25, 2017 - Simplemente Vino, A Walk-Around Tasting (The WineSellar & Brasserie, San Diego, CA): “100% Albariño from their Monte Alto plot; Fermentation took place at controlled temps in s/s vats. Racking was carried out after fermentation, and then the wine was aged for a further 12 mos in s/s vats, during which the fine lees were stirred regularly using the bâtonnage method.” 26 cases imported.
  
  N: ATTRACTIVELY crisp pears, poss apples, with undertones of flowers
  
  P: Med, poss MF, body; NICE frt met by crisp acidity; Long, albeit VERY slightly faint finish; Nicely done for drinking over the next 18 mos or so. 89 pts WE (6/1/17) @ $26, 86 WS, & 84 Decanter (Panel). [As of early Mar '20, wine-searcher shows no available sources for this vintage].
