July 16, 2022 - Walla Walla Syrah Festival Grand Tasting (Valdemar Cellars Walla Walla): This was very nice and showing well. I believe this was the oldest Syrah served at the Grand Tasting Saturday night. Cherry, plum, charcoal, stone and rose petals. Very nice fruit and finish. Nice way to start the alphabet at a tasting.

August 14, 2020 - Opaque. Drying tannins. Sampled without food. Full bodied. Dark fruits, smoky (not fire taint smoky) long finish. May be a bit of a bruiser for some but I love it. Won’t be fooled for a Southern Rhône Syrah.
