October 15, 2017 - Not real wine, but delicious. Obvious added acid, but true to the vintage with earthy, fruity, tannins. There is enough real juice to enjoy. Expect tart, fruit of plum mixed with under ripe cherry, some musk of real oak, tannins of superb vitus vinifera, that of Aglianico that is evidently well tended to make a cheap yummy 2012 Irpinia.
If you would like to cut the edge of meat, reset the palate with a not too manipulated wine, then here you go. If you can afford better, and appreciate the difference then skip it.
(This 100 point scale is retarded. Hachette rating system makes more sense. Why do we trust reviews by entities that solicit advertising dollars? Wine Spectator should be disqualified, or at least disregarded.) -

March 29, 2017 - Enjoyable and easy to drink, if you like huge tannins. Could wait a few years or give it time to breathe. At this point out did a good hub cutting through spicy food. Besides the rankings there weren't any big flavors coming through
