August 4, 2006 - 82' 87' 88' Jean-Noel Gagnard Chassagne-Montrachet, 85' Batard Montrachet: Groups 1st - This shows easily the most youthfulness of all the wines and is both rich, round, long & pure. It expands in the mouth with amazing concentration and extracted spiced white fruit while showing no signs of oxidation and a sappy powerful finish. This easily has another 5 years left though I would catch it now, as it was wonderful. I am really taken by the pure concentration, and power of this wine. Excellent
