Community Tasting Notes 7

May 20, 2020 - This has (d)evolved a bit more. There is some tasty fruit, but the structure seems faded and so now a bit too much creamy oak and sweet fruit dominating. Not a disaster, but I liked this one younger. (Also, contrast the 2013 which did seem to hold up to time better.)

November 27, 2018 - medium bodied and quite a few attractive elements: nice fruit, good acidity and tannic grip. Starting to show some secondary characteristics despite relatively young age. Fairly sweet too; not sure this has a lot of years left, but will wait and see...

January 2, 2018 - Ready to roll. Basic everyday cab.

November 23, 2017 - Went to this winery back in the day and remember quite liking this. Not complex - just had a flat out good taste. And most times that is good enough for me.

This one tasted medicinal, however. Other flavors are there too...good flavors of dark berries and some cocoa. But the medicine is in the forefront...ick.

Doesnt smell half bad...I'll drink to that :)

More tannin than anything I've had recently (puck puck)

You won't find a better bottle at this price. But good luck finding one.

(Give it some air and enjoy)

August 29, 2017 - A good go to cab. Bold and balanced both in fruitiness and tannins. A good pairing with a steak.
