May 1, 2021 - Smokey, meaty, tar, dk cherry fruit. A classic CDP and still drinking nicely after 32 yrs

March 18, 2021 - Still very youthful and showing little or some age. Been tasting three nights. Tonight the viscosity became much more pronounced and the fruit has made a comeback. Got a different aged funk coming through. Kinda annoying at first but then it becomes an interesting element of an older vintage wine.

October 24, 2020 - What a surprise! Bought on release. In perfect condition. Still young and youthful. Great finish. One of the best CNP's I have had in years. It just reaffirms how good a vintage was 1989.

March 8, 2020 - Strawberry and musty notes on the nose. Fruit took some time to open but did not last long. Musty oaky notes kick in as fruit fades. Medium silky tannin. Tannins soften quickly with aeration.

February 13, 2007 - Some fruit, but decidedly fading. Not in the top ranks of this great vintage but a pleasant drink
