April 21, 2018 - Restaurant purchase, enjoyed with Southwestern themed dinner. Clear, dark ruby color. Youthful, simple aromatics of medium minus intense black cherry, black plum, and blackberry; all primary characteristics. Dry red wine. Medium minus flavors of ripe black plum, creamy vanilla, tart red cherry, and mixed red and blackberry. Medium alcohol and medium body. Medium tannin and medium minus acidity supports a short finish. Acceptable wine with decent balance, but lacks complexity, length, intensity and complexity. Drink now, fairly simple Malbec.

February 18, 2018 - PNP. Medium-to-Deep Purple color. Aromas of dark plum, green tobacco, smoke, and violets. Medium-full body of dark plums with zippy acid and fine-grained tannins providing just enough structure to provide a backbone. Medium+ finish for this excellent QPR wine.

January 31, 2018 - Mostly consistent with prior note. More black cherry than I recall. Some chocolate on finish. Moderate finish.

January 11, 2018 - PNP. Medium/Deep Purple color. Medium intensity aromas of dark fruit, wet slate, saddle leather, and white pepper. Medium acidity and fine-grained tannins. Medium body of dark cherry and cranberry. Dusty, medium finish. Simple, excellent-QPR Malbec.

October 25, 2017 - Moderate, earthy malbec nose. Smooth initial moth feel. Earthy, stewed plum with some dried fruit. Nice but slightly bitter finish. Nice with red meat.
