December 25, 2023 - Ruby red through to rim. Full blackcurrant nose, coconut and vanilla. smoothed out tannins in the mouth, oak well balanced, smooth and easy. Blackberry, blackcurrant mainly, some ripe plums. Excellent now. Did well at traditional Xmas lunch.

December 25, 2023 - From a magnum and drunk over two days.
Bright red colour with only a little fading at the rim, lots of sediment though.
Beautifully pure ripe fruit on the nose - blackcurrants and cherries. That didn't fade over two days.
Ripe fruit on the palate, carries it's 14.5% really well, then lots of coconut, vanilla and spice.
Oak becomes more prominent on the second day. Drink now for all the great fruit but probably needs a bit more time for oak to integrate. -
