  September 17, 2023 - The wine is in a great spot. Very balanced with the fruit still shining through. Underlying tones of vanilla contribute to a lovely bouquet . Well made wine.

  January 22, 2022 - Decanted 1/2hour. Last bottle purchased from winery. This has markedly improved since last bottle. Flavors have deepened with no harsh notes. Currant, espresso, herbs in a full bodied wine with long finish. Drink or hold.

  December 27, 2021 - Popped and poured on site. An auction purchase that was mislabeled as a different bottle. My lone bottle but this was showing marvelously. So smooth but still plenty of structure so no urgency to drink but this was one of my older Turnbull bottles left. I keep drinking these when they get to the right age. Wonderful dark chocolate notes with creme de cassis and currant. Sad that I only purchased one. I will look for additional bottles. If you have multiple, drink one. If not, these can certainly age longer but this was in a great place this evening. Bottle was neck and neck with a Sodhani Estate for wine of the night at our Xmas 🎄 wine dinner.
