July 23, 2022 - Bonne acidité et très belle longueur. Un peu étriqué en milieu de bouche. Nez bien équilibré. A attendre encore un peu.

December 30, 2020 - German Riesling from Rheingau. 12,5 % alcohol.
Beautiful golden color.
Aromas of oriental spices, pear and honey. Flavors of lemon, pear and minerals. When paired with food, there is a distinct flavor of saffron.
Dry. Medium body. Fresh acidity. Very good balance and structure. Elegant. Complex.
Long finish with minerality and lemon.

January 7, 2019 - No petroleum. But Riesling is obvious. One dimensional but with a really rich minerality. Not bone dry but nothing overtly sweet. Nothing complex. A slight disappointment. If my CT is updated I still have a few bottles. These will have to sleep for many years. In fact this wine will dwell in my cellar for many years/decades - not much fun now and nothing to lose. Looking forward to check back and see if and when ageing symptoms appear.
