August 10, 2019 - Red fruit, pepper spice finish low tannin. Went quite well with Italian.

January 5, 2019 - Spice fruit. Amazing. The 2015 beat this one by just a tiny bit on a side-by-side tasting.

September 29, 2018 - Big full bodied Sangiovese. Tasted right after a lighter one from Trentadue.

May 16, 2017 - This one starts off with some funky mushroom both on the nose and on the very front with a ton of acidity. This blew off after 10-15 minutes or so, and became a nice bouquet of chocolate covered red cherries and mocha after the mushroom blew off. The entry is more chocolate and a darker berry. Fig and still a hint of mushroom on the middle. Definitely a ripe wine. The finish was acidic, more tame after an hour, dark chocolate and a hint of stiff oak tannin. A very interesting wine!
