April 1, 2024 - Last bottle of this vintage- we now move back to the 2009. As I stated before this has turned out to be a very good year for this wine. It is very Rioja and a lovely accompaniment to roast pork. Decanted for 30 minutes which allowed the smoky barbecue meat flavour to emerge after dinner. No need to hurry this one.

February 3, 2023 - One hour decant. Inky black cherry color. Blackberries, black cherry, oak and subtle spices. Smooth, rich and balanced with perfect tannic grip. Long finish. Delightful Tempranillo.

January 23, 2022 - Decanted for an hour. Mmm, delicious plush aromas of dark berries and cedar wood, with a hint of blood and smoke. The palate is big and fruity, inky dark fruit, with hints of licorice, and strong tannins. Definitely young, but eminently drinkable!
