December 26, 2023 - Confused by everyone else’s notes. NOT ready to drink, 2 hours in. Still massive tannins. YMMV, of course. Mine did!

December 1, 2023 - Just starting its drinking window. Plum, blackberry, eucalyptus, menthol, licorice, caramel.

November 20, 2023 - Classic IGT composure, good structured red fruit with notes of dry earth, violets, leather. Medium+ acid, tannin smoothing and integrating but still providing back bone and austerity. Wine has further life.

September 24, 2023 - This was excellent. Not decanted, just popped and poured. This was absolutely singing right from from the go. Nose is not the strong point, a little muted but not bad, palate is bright fresh and full of currant and plum fruit. Really juicy and delicious with a really long aftertaste. This went great with a grilled steak. Super impressed with this wine for its balance and grace along with some nice concentration.

May 8, 2023 - Consumed over 2 days (stored in Somm du Vin), note from day 2. Appearance: Clear, medium ruby. Nose: Clean, medium intensity with aromas of black raspberry, black cherry, bell pepper, sweet tobacco and violet. Palate: Dry, medium+ acid and tannin, medium+ body, medium intensity, 14.5% abv with flavors of tart dark fruit - black raspberry and black cherry, black olive, and bell pepper with a medium+ finish. Showing excellent complexity, intensity, and length but a bit out of balance - lacking enough fruit to balance the high acid and tannin. This was drinking better on day 1 meaning this is likely not improving with age at this point. Drink now or over next 1-2 years.
