December 28, 2022 - Château La Tour de By Vertical 2011-2016: Lovely wine, quite dense and sweet due to Prädikat and vintage, but the acidity gives some freshness to the wine, lots of exotic fruit, some botrytis and petrol aromas, long finish, great now but with a long live ahead

May 8, 2021 - Crystal clear, pale gold. Full body, no tannins, long aftertaste.
Sweet & tart, silky texture, good balance.
    Citrus flavor.
    Delicious.

December 20, 2020 - Honey, spices, apricot, peach and tropical notes on the nose. Slightly above medium bodied (8% ABV) with white peach upfront, moving to yellow peach through the middle along with slightly tart pineapple and a variety of other tropical notes. Much of the mid-body is still unresolved at this stage, as it's still a bit tightly wound and the acidity and other tart notes on the backside are still concealing. The acidity is vibrant and lingering through the finish, quite close to electric. The tart citrus notes on the backside amplify this and keep the richness and honey qualities in balance. Still feels very early for this wine. As it continues to open up, I expect more density and complexity through the middle while retaining the acidity backbone. I will hold my next bottle probably until 2023 as I believe it will be well worth waiting for.

July 5, 2020 - Entirely too young but also entirely too tasty to not guzzle up promptly. This wine will evolve for years, if you have the patience.
