June 1, 2007 - Really nice. Perfect midweek wine. Loads of red and some black fruits. Nicely integrated. Consistent with previous notes, but extra point for not disappointing in any way.

November 7, 2006 - Same impression as 3 months earlier. Lots of flavors and aromas. Nicely balanced.

October 9, 2006 - Better than I thought it would be!

August 14, 2006 - Violet red with a touch of brown. Not decanted. Really nice nose of cherries, dark berry, spice, a touch of mocha, and stems/pine needles/mint. Full fruit on early and mid palate. Finishes a little 'fat', but acidity (and heat?) pick up within a few seconds and prolong the flavors. Nice surprise. Was lovely with lamb sausage, carmelized onions and roasted sweet peppers. Even my wife (who normally 'objects' to 'grapey' Novy style), loved this one.
