Community Tasting Notes 1

January 16, 2017 - Decanted 1 hr. ahead. Very deep ruby-garnet. Nice nose of plum, fig, black cherry, herbs. Dark and rich on the palate, fairly full-bodied, with black-fruit flavors tempered by herbs. It balances toward firmness without being tart. Finishes well, with iodine and velvety but coating tannins. I think it may improve with a few years in the cellar, but it's very very good right now.
