February 21, 2024 - Good color for its age but clearly over the peak.

April 21, 2023 - Little bit of rubber cement on the nose and and deep golden hue. Little lily in the mouth with green apple, pineapple and lemon.

April 20, 2019 - Ullage and color were promising but this bottle was just too old. The faint nose of cinnamon and honeysuckle is pleasant enough, it doesn’t fade but doesn’t grow either. Too soft on the palate, lacking acidity and energy. Haut-Brion Blanc can at its best last this long but not this bottle - or maybe this vintage.

December 17, 2016 - Fascinating and totally unique nose giving up smoke, beeswax, and honeycomb. Incredibly savoury overall. Nose is quite expressive and gives up more with a good swirl. Very proper. On the palate this has a lot of ripe red and yellow apple flavor that turns into a more mature and honeyed midpalate but offers lots of texture and sufficient acidity through the finish. Savory throughout. Hazelnut and almond butter with a strong floral component as well. Coconut notes too. Sort of in a category of its own.

August 13, 2006 - Diner at Aquerella with the gang. Stunning wine. Five hours later and it was still changing. Find and buy.....and DRINK!
