  July 16, 2022 - Bottled in 2017. Clear bronze color with dark yellow rim. High toned nose. Almonds palate! Very, very long and "ethereal" finish! The time in bottle has not helped this tawny. I preferred it when it was fresh, but this is still a monumental Tawny Port!

  July 16, 2022 - Guys' Port Weekend - July 2022; 7/15/2022-7/16/2022 (Boulder Creek, California): Bottled in 2017. Orange-amber in color. Dried figs, nuts, and some light herbal notes on the nose. Fresh, sweet flavor profile with vanilla, caramel, and very balanced acidity. Extremely smooth, with very long, fresh finish.

  November 29, 2021 - 40 YO Tawny Vertical: It is simply packed with milk-chocolate and caramelized oranges. Quite sweet but still with a lovely acidity. Some green spices and very classic in its style.

  September 29, 2021 - 2021 FTLOP Harvest Tour; 9/19/2021-10/2/2021 (Portgugal): Amber-brown in color. Mahogany, molasses, some dried fruits and an odd but wonderful brown sugar barbecue sauce on the nose. The palate has a rich flavor profile of vanilla and cream brulee. Intense flavor profile and wonderful acidity. Extremely balanced. While many 40 Year Old Tawny Ports are normally rich and viscous, this one is medium bodied but it is very ethereal and complex with a softness and elegance. Wonderfully refreshing for a 40 Year Old Tawny Port.
