July 16, 2023 - Appearance: Clear, medium gold.
Nose: Clean, medium + intensity with aromas of lychee, pear, asparagus, straw, and bruised apple.
Palate: Dry, medium acid, medium body, medium + intensity, 14.2% abv with flavors of lychee, pear, and asparagus with a long finish.

    Balance: Excellent
    Length: Outstanding
    Intensity: Outstanding
    Complexity: Excellent

Still youthful despite 8 years of age, this unique blend of Gewurztraminer, Riesling, and Trousseau Gris is outstanding. The Riesling provides an acidic backbone to the bold Gewurztraminer you'll never find with single varietal bottling. Likely a year or two from peak yet.

October 29, 2022 - Overwhelmingly perfumed. The same dried apricots you get from a older Quarts de Chaume or Sauternes. I don't know if this has marsanne but it tastes like it. Bitter green almond on the back end and like a lot of aged Rhone whites, lacks acidity. Still a wonderful wine.

August 20, 2021 - Consumed over a week. No notes but I will say it was great and only improved with being opened.

December 1, 2020 - Mineral, stone fruit, tropical, white pepper.

Lower acid, still balanced, touch of cream.

    Paired ok with pierogi.

July 16, 2020 - No formal notes. Took a while to open up, the last half of the bottle was much better than the first. It could use another year or two in the bottle, though I don't think it has the acid to positively evolve much beyond that. Prefer the Carlisle and Arnot Roberts bottles from this vineyard.
