November 16, 2017 - A fairly light Cote du Puy compared to the Grange. This one lacks a bit of fruit but with a strong thread of minerality and tannin (perhaps stems) which overwhelms and fruit there is. Tasted the 2007 version in the same sitting which was interesting which was much lighter and brick and still with the overwhelming thread. Of course the fruit in the 07 had faded. Based on this I doubt the 2014 will improve.

November 14, 2017 - Tasted over 2 days - consistent throughout. This was a bit disappointing. Had adequate tart acidity, but seemed to lack freshness and came across as a little flat. Tasted like Morgon, but lacked something I just couldn't quite put my finger on. Not terrible, but didn't really enjoy it at all.
