Community Tasting Notes 5

June 22, 2017 - Decanted prior to serving, it was dark as an old Sauternes. We were doubtful, but this drank well. A good wine in a difficult vintage - what more can you ask for?

January 19, 2015 - Amazing freshness for a 20yr old white wine. Classic sweet meursault nose. Hazlenuts, lightly buttered white fruit, good balance on the palate but just a bit of a hole in the middle. Lovely and easy to drink, but not complex or deep.

  • Pacalet Likes this wine: 92 points

June 7, 2014 - Got the typical flinty Coche nose, great to smell. Palate good but not great, lacks freshness and acidity lift, a tad bit tired, better open this ASAP.

    April 27, 2009 - corked.
