May 13, 2018 - I agree with Captain Haddock. ("Very much alive, no sign of oxidation though fully tertiary, quite earthy and rustic.") Similar experience here despite celebrating its 70th birthday. Fantastic provenance--Durand got the cork out in shockingly good shape. Fair amount of sediment as was to be expected--definitely try to stand it up for at least 48 hours prior to serving.

November 30, 2014 - Tett fin kork. TS fill. Fargen rød med murstein i kanten. Godt moden, men fremdeles veldig fresh. Fremstår mye yngre enn 66 år. Servert blindt til resten av laget..ble gjettet første vekst kvalitet fra 66, 70 eller 75. Fiken, cedar tre, lær, stall (ikke brett). Fremdeles fin frukt. Rafinert og lang avslutning. Stunning!

September 17, 2011 - A great feat of survival for the vintage. Very much alive, no sign of oxidation though fully tertiary, quite earthy and rustic, would never have been the most refined wine but very enjoyable. I liked this more than some others around the table.
