January 7, 2012 - Deep reddish amber color. Cedar and leather notes on the nose. Unusual but not unpleasant. Full bodied with excellent balance. Not at all cloying like some dessert wines. Butterscotch and vanilla with a long finish if not complex. Very enjoyable. Have had only a few Sauternes but this definitely fits the style.
